WBPSC Clerkship Syllabus 2024 (Part-1):

English:- The English syllabus for the clerkship exam is vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage etc.

General Studies:- General Studies syllabus is matters of everyday observation including everyday science, current events and problems with special reference to India and elementary knowledge of Indian History and Indian Geography.

Arithmetic:- There is Divisibility, fractions, decimals, recurring decimals, simplification, HCF, LCM, Partnership, Average, Ratio and proportions, percentage, simple interest, profit and loss, time and distance, area of rectangles and squares in WBPSC Clerkship Syllabus 2024.

WBPSC Clerkship Syllabus 2024 (Part-2):

Group-A: English

  1. Drafting of a report in English from points or materials supplied.
  2. Condensing of a prose passage (Summary/Precis)
  3. Translation from Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali, as the case may be, into English.

Group-B: Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali

  1. Drafting of a report from points or materials supplied.
  2. Condensing of a prose passage (summary or precis).
  3. Translation from English into Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali, as the case may be.

Note:- The standard of examination shall be similar to that of Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

ইংরেজী:- ক্লার্কশিপ পরীক্ষার জন্য ইংরেজি সিলেবাস হল শব্দভান্ডার, ব্যাকরণ, বাক্যের গঠন, প্রতিশব্দ, বিপরীতার্থক শব্দ এবং এর সঠিক ব্যবহার ইত্যাদি।

জেনারেল স্টাডিজ:- সাধারণ জ্ঞানের পাঠ্যক্রম হল দৈনন্দিন বিজ্ঞান, বর্তমান ঘটনা এবং সমস্যা সহ ভারতের বিশেষ রেফারেন্স এবং ভারতীয় ইতিহাস ও ভারতের ভূগোলের প্রাথমিক জ্ঞান সহ দৈনন্দিন পর্যবেক্ষণের বিষয়।

পাটিগণিত:- বিভাজ্যতা, ভগ্নাংশ, দশমিক, পুনরাবৃত্ত দশমিক, সরলীকরণ, HCF, LCM, অংশীদারিত্ব, গড়, অনুপাত এবং অনুপাত, শতাংশ, সরল সুদ, লাভ এবং ক্ষতি, সময় এবং দূরত্ব, আয়তক্ষেত্র এবং বর্গক্ষেত্রের ক্ষেত্রফল হল WBPSC ক্লার্কশিপ 2024 এর সিলেবাস।

WBPSC Clerkship Syllabus 2024 in Bengali (Part-2):

বিভাগ-ক: ইংরেজী 

  1. পয়েন্ট বা সরবরাহ করা উপকরণ থেকে একটি প্রতিবেদনের খসড়া তৈরি করা।
  2. একটি গদ্য প্যাসেজের সারাংশ।
  3. বাংলা/হিন্দি/উর্দু/নেপালি/সাঁওতালি থেকে ইংরেজিতে অনুবাদ।

বিভাগ-খ: বাংলা/হিন্দি/উর্দু/নেপালি/সাঁওতালি

  1. পয়েন্ট বা সরবরাহ করা উপকরণ থেকে একটি প্রতিবেদনের খসড়া তৈরি করা।
  2. একটি গদ্য প্যাসেজের সারাংশ।

Exam pattern of WBPSC Clerkship Recruitment 2024:

There are two parts in WBPSC clerkship exam 2024. Part-1 is objective type and Part-2 is conventional type written exam.

Exam pattern of wbpsc clerkship recruitment part-1:

Part-1 will carry 100 marks having 100 questions of 1 mark each, consisting of multiple choice, objective type questions on English (30 marks), General Studies (40 marks) and Arithmetic (30 marks). 

The duration of Part-1 examination shall be 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Exam pattern of wbpsc clerkship recruitment Part-2:

Part-2 shall consist of conventional type questions on a) Group-A : English b) Group-B : Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali carrying 50 marks each for Group-A and Group-B. 

The duration of Part-2 examination shall be 1 hour.

Note:- The elementary knowledge in Computer operation and ability of typing on Computers of the candidates shall be judged only after they are found qualified in Part-1 and Part-2.
