Educational qualification for Bankura District Court Recruitment 2024:

Upper division clerk: Graduate pass candidates who have a computer knowledge and satisfactory speed in typing can apply for upper division clerk (UDC) post.

Lower Division Clerk and Seal Bailiff: Candidates who have passed in madhyamik and have a computer certificate with satisfactory speed in typing can apply for lower division clerk (LDC) and Seal Bailiff.

Process Server and Group-D: Class 8th pass candidates can apply for process server and Group-D post.

Salary Level of Pay as per revised W.B.S.(ROPA) Rules 2019 of Govt. of West Bengal. Upper division clerk: Pay Level - 9 [Rs.28,900/- – 74,500/-], Lower Division Clerk: Pay Level - 6 [Rs.22,700/- – 58,500/-], Seal Bailiff: Pay Level – 6 [Rs.22,700/- - 58,500/-], Process Server: Pay Level – 5 [Rs.21,000/- – 54,000/-], Group D (Peon/Night-Guard/Farash): Pay Level – 1 [Rs.17,000 – 43,600/-].

Age limit for Bankura District Court Recruitment 2024:

The minimum age limit for Bankura District Court Recruitment is 18 years and maximum age limit is 40 years as on 01-01-2024. Age relaxation is also available there. Age relaxation for OBC candidates is 3 years and SC/ST candidates are 5 years.

Selection process of Bankura District Court Recruitment 2024:

Upper Division Clerk: There are three phases for the selection of upper division clerk. These are:

  • Phase-I: Written exam (100 marks)
  • Phase-II: computer proficiency, work management and writing skill (100 marks)
  • Phase-III: personality test (40 marks).

Lower Division Clerk and Seal Bailiff: There are two steps for the selection of lord division clerk and Seal Bailiff. These are:

  • Step-I: Written exam (100 marks)
  • Step-II: Personality test (20 marks)

Process server and Group-D: Process server and group d have also two steps selection process. These are:

  • Step-I: Written exam (100 marks)
  • Step-II: Personality test (20 marks)

Exam pattern of Bankura District Court Recruitment 2024:

Questions type of Bankura District Court exam will be objective type multiple choice questions. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.

Syllabus, number of questions and marks of Upper division clerk Phase-I exam 2024:

  • General English,

  • Quantitative Aptitude

Bankura court upper division clerk's written exam has a total of 50 questions for 100 marks and the allotted time is 60 minutes.

Syllabus of Upper division clerk Phase-II computer based exam:

  • Draft Note
  • Report
  • Letter Writing
  • Paragraph Writing
  • Precis Writing

After typing the answer in computer, the candidate has to put a signature in the print out of the answer sheet. Allotted time for phase-II exam is 2 hours.

Shortlisted candidates form Phase-II examination will be called for Personality Test. 

On the basis of total marks obtained in Phase-I, Phase-II and Phase-III the final panel will be prepared. 

The standard of personality test shall be as per Graduation level.

Syllabus and exam pattern of Lower Division Clerk, Seal Bailiff, Process Server and Group-D:

  • Arithmetic
  • English
  • Bengali
  • General Knowledge

It also has 50 questions for 100 marks and the allotted time for the written exam is 60 minutes.

Shortlisted candidates from the written exam will be called for a personality test of 20 marks.

The standard of examination of Lower Division Clerk, Seal Bailiff shall be as per madhyamik level and process server, Group-D shall be as per class 8th level.
