Is There Any Negative Marking In SSC CHSL Exam 2024?

Yes, there is negative marking in SSC CHSL exam 2024. There is a negative marking of 0.50 mark in SSC CHSL Tier 1 CBT exam and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for SSC CHSL tier 2 CBT exam for each wrong answer.

Negative marking in SSC CHSL Tier 1 CBT exam:-

SSC CHSL Tier 1 CBT exam has a 0.50 negative mark. That means if you give 2 wrong answers, then 1 mark will be deducted.

So, 0.50 negative marking will be effective in the subjects of SSC CHSL Tier 1. These are, 1.English Language (Basic Knowledge). 2. General intelligence. 3.Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill). 4.General awareness.

Negative marking in SSC CHSL Tier 2 CBT exam:-

SSC CHSL Tier 2 CBT exam has a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. 

So negative marking of 1 mark will be effective in the subjects of SSC CHSL Tier 2. These are, 1.Mathematical Abilities. 2.Reasoning and General Intelligence. 3.English Language and Comprehension. 4.General Awareness. 5.Computer Knowledge Module.

Negative Marking is not applicable in skill or typing tests. Although skill or typing test is mandatory and qualifying in nature. 

Total marks of SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam:-

Total marks of SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam is 200. There are four parts in the Tier 1 Exam and each part carries 25 questions and 50 marks.

Total marks of SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam:-

Total marks of SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam is 405. There are a total of 60 questions and 180 marks in 1.Mathematical Abilities. 2.Reasoning and General Intelligence and total 60 questions and 180 marks in 3.English Language and Comprehension. 4.General Awareness also. But there are 15 questions and 45 marks in the computer knowledge module subject. Although there are no allotted marks for skill or typing test.
